Communication Studies Concentration
Program Learning Outcomes
- Students will develop and deliver a speech appropriate to the audience, purpose and context.
- The student will analyze the characteristics of a competent communicator as they apply to relationships.
- Students will demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate in the workplace in both written and oral formats.
- Students will apply group communication competencies during team projects.
- Students will construct and deliver effective debate arguments.

Students who select a 3 credit hour Mathematics course to fulfill the Mathematics component of the Curriculum must take 4 credit hours to complete the Component Area Option for the Core Curriculum.
