Program Learning Outcomes

  1. Students will identify and summarize the philosophy, history, and practice of social work in the United States.
  2. Students will identify and summarize the political, economic, and cultural values and ideologies that shape social welfare policy, programs, and services.
  3. Students will identify and summarize the various methods and techniques used in social work practice.
  4. Students will identify and summarize the role of culture and social structure in shaping and influencing human behavior.
  5. Students will identify and summarize problems and issues pertaining to life in the United States.
