Program Learning Outcomes
- Design an effective middle school lesson plan that incorporates technology.
- Evaluate relevant research and practices that support and promote effective classroom management in the middle school classroom.
- Interpret ethical guidelines for EC -12 educators as described in the Code of Ethics and Standard Policies for Texas Educators.
- Analyze judicial and legislative actions, such as IDEA, that have established rights, opportunities and services for children with disabilities.
- Evaluate differentiated instruction based on the needs and characteristics of middle school learners with special needs.
- Analyze the culture of schooling in middle school classrooms from the perspectives of language, gender, socioeconomic, ethnic and disability-based academic diversity and equity.

For BIOL 2406 Environmental Biology , 2 credits would be allowed to the field of study and 2 credits would be allocated to the core education requirements (Component Area Option)
