The Cosmetology Operator program equips students with the essential theoretical knowledge and hands-on training in hair, skin, nails, safety, and sanitation. Through a comprehensive curriculum, students will develop the skills necessary for a successful career in the beauty industry while also gaining a strong foundation for further education. This program is designed to meet local industry demands, preparing graduates for licensure and diverse opportunities in the cosmetology field. 

Program Learning Outcomes

1. Graduates will employ safety and sanitation laws and rules according to the state licensing agency.
2. Graduates will demonstrate the essential services of nail services and exhibit workplace competencies.
3. Graduates will implement skin care procedures and exhibit workplace competencies.
4. Graduates will perform basic competencies related to the artistry of hair design and chemical reformation.
