Environmental Science I

This course is a survey of the forces, including humans, that shape our physical and biologic environment, and how they affect life on Earth. Introduction to the science and policy of global and regional environmental issues, including pollution, climate change, and sustainability of land, water, and energy resources. The lab component will cover methods used to collect and analyze environmental data. (Cross-listed as GEOL 1405).
Prerequisite: TSI complete in Reading and in Math or equivalent.

This course is a general interest course requiring a minimum of previous science background and relating scientific knowledge to problems involving energy and the environment.
Prerequisite: ENVR 1401.
